About Frank Williams
Frank Williams was born in London on 2 July 1931 and educated in West Sussex. He is well known as an actor in many long running TV series and British films of the 50s and 60s, although he is most famous for playing The Reverend Timothy Farthing in Dad’s Army.
He served 3 terms as a Member of the General Synod of the Church of England between 1985 and 2000. Now mostly retired, he lives in London and has published his autobiography.
